DESCRIPTION 

As Cloud Engineer, we work within the frameworks drafted by our Security team and our Platform team. We receive change requests and incident reports generated by signals from the organization or alerts from Datadog and Splunk. We then translate these into user stories that, after analysis, are incorporated into the sprint. As an engineer you pick up these stories and create the correct solution using DevOps tooling. 

Using your solid knowledge of AWS and Azure you come up with solutions within the Enexis framework in observance of the applicable standards. You work both independently and in a team on future-oriented solutions. You enjoy sharing your knowledge and you are open and honest in your communication.  

Here’s what we expect from you: 

• You are at home in the AWS and Azure cloud environments, and are well-versed in AWS and Infrastructure as Code. 

• You work together with your fellow cloud engineers and functional managers on the team to carry the analysis process to its conclusion with a

successful solution. 

• You stay results-oriented by translating needs into solutions and advising on potential implications. 

• You collect and define requirements/acceptance criteria in collaboration with the functional managers. 

• You work at least one day per week with the team in the office at ‘s-Hertogenbosch. 

• Knowledge of the tools: AWS, Terraform, Ansible, Windows server management, Git, Azure, Linux server management.

JOB REQUIREMENTS 

•Higher vocational/university education and equivalent level of professionalism/analytical ability, preferably with tech/ICT specialization 

•Experience in general IT management and Cloud Management in particular. 

•Good analytical skills, with an eye for detail and creativity in problem-solving and creating customer-facing solutions. 

•Analytical and communicative skills. 

•Knowledge of Agile SAFe is a plus.  

•Good command of English. 

•Residing in the Netherlands and willing to learn Dutch.

Bedrijfsinformatie

You will become a member of our System Team Data, which is dedicated to developing, supporting and connecting Enexis’ data analysis and data reporting systems. Our team falls under the BI reporting value chain, in which multiple teams are engaged in developing insights for the major themes within Enexis. This structure is applied based on the methodologies of SAFe. 

We are looking for someone who will be a part of building and managing the cloud environments of our customers. Together with the functional managers, you will be developing the Ansible playbooks that will be used to set up the servers. We work as a self-steering DevOps team that uses Agile methods. The team consists of three components, one of which is the Cloud Services Team you will be on. The ratio between our AWS and Azure cloud platforms is 80/20. Our server park is made up of 80% Windows and 20% Linux servers. All architecture is fully based on Infrastructure as Code.

• A gross monthly salary between €4,358 and €6,226 at the full-time (40 hours/week) rate.  

• This consists of a base salary in scale 15 between €3,611 and €5,158, supplemented with a personal budget (10%) and a 13th month (10.7%).  

• Vacation bonus in the amount of 8% of your gross salary.  

• 24.5 vacation days with option to purchase 35.5 additional days.
